Yeah I think this board has dried up. Pity since I like the discussions when they are going but would find it kind of weird to have to answer my own posts. Guess I will check back from time to time and see with any luck that folks are posting.

Well, it is mostly just you, me, and Tom that discusses things.
I know you took the time to write out the Star Wars content and Tom took the time to write out his NE sessions and you guys get very little to no feedback which sucks.
What happened to your brother? We were supposed to continue the Marvel vs Capcom adventure but he hasn't written anything yet...
Whatever happened to Trax?

Don't feel TOO bad for me...I cross-post on four boards, and get a fair bit of feedback on two of them.

I cannot start answering my own posts cause that would be silly and make me look somewhat insane. Too late, I think you already look insane. You definitely shouldn't have chosen a picture of the the Mad Titan to represent yourself! ;D

So is this board going to have any more discussions going? I have spread myself through too many boards and am starting to eliminate some of the boards I go to. I would like to stick around on this one but if it is dead half the time except for maybe 3 of us and is not getting much frequent posting then I may have to turf it.

I hope the board isn't dead. I was rifling through my garage and found a near-pristine copy of Marvel SAGA with all 96 original cards and I intend to keep using it. I've already converted most of my Classic Marvel players over to it (they love the extra element of control that they're given) and with just a few minor changes to make the game feel more comfortable, it's the best system out there...
Rather than trying to get them to convert to M&M (which is a great game, but they hated it) getting them to try SAGA was easy. I'm in the process of making a SAGA version of every genre I can think of....
Marvel SAGA 2 Buffy SAGA Star Wars SAGA Chuck SAGA (this one's for my wife. she doesn't like 'scary' games, or ones with lots of killing, so I figure I can make one based off of the TV show Chuck. More intrigue and humor than any real violence. I'll have to let you all know how it works out. Trial and error, I guess).
Anyway... I'm ecstatic that I found a SAGA board with ANY activity...so as far as I'm concerned, I'll keep coming back until I'm the only one left (probably not, since I'll direct my players here as well)...

Buffy SAGA, Star Wars SAGA and Chuck SAGA are pretty self explanatory...but what, exactly, do you mean by Marvel SAGA 2?
And feel free to post anything and everything SAGA related for all the above versions...I'd love to see what you produce.

Marvel SAGA 2 is simply the existing book with items from the Reed Richards Guide to Everything, some house rules I find on the 'net or come up with myself, and updated character rosters based on recent storylines. Essentially it's like D&D 4 edition. Nothing really new there, it's just presented differently with a few changes to make it more 'sparkly'.
A few of the changes I'm implementing (mostly from Steve Kenson's page) are unfolded Attributes, his M-Fuzion character creation rules, and my own experience and character advancement concept that I made for Classic FASERIP Marvel.
I'm happy to post the finished results, but to be fair, I'm months away from a finished product. I'm play-testing ideas with my brother-in-law and some buddies (not to say my brother-in-law isn't a buddy as well) to see what stays in Saga 2nd Edition, and what just adds complexity for no added gain.
Out of curiousity, is there any house-rules that you use in your games (or are aware of) that you would've like to have seen in a second edition if TSR/WoTC had seen to publish such a book?

The first house rule I think of is the possibility to upgrade a stunt to power level with bonus response.
The second one is a clear ruling about multiple attacks, contingent or not, in a same exchange.

Both interesting possibilities.
I'm particularly intrigued about the multiple attacks and what you think would be the best way to implement it. Personally I think certain characters should clearly have multiple attacks, but I'm concerned about bogging down the combat too much. Are you currently using a multiple attack system and what's your experience with it?
Right now I'm rackin' my brain to come up with a simple way to rework the distance system. I know there's probably lots of people that like the system, but I think that there's an ambiguity to it that I'd like to flesh out a bit, but not to the point where it's a clone of the current d20 movement system. I don't yet have a good answer to it yet, but I'll keep givin' it brain cells until I get some revelation.
I'd love to bounce SAGA 2e ideas off of anyone that's wanting to brainstorm.
