So is it just me and Dr Banner still? I'm still onboard and it wouldn't be too difficult for me to post once or twice a week but it would be nice to have more people join in.

I believe Dr. Banner was going to post as well. I figured you might be waiting to see if he would respond first. Banner was working some pretty long hours so since he might have a bit of a day off today I will see if he can post. He did say he was keen on playing again. I have asked others just waiting for a response.

I hope we can get to a steady pace where we can post at least once a week.
I have to read up on MURPG again to familiarize myself with the use of stones.

Here's a reminder in brief of how things work (I wrote this for a new player based on the character he was playing) Action number = max red stones you can use Ability bonus = Additional stones you can use Example: (a character with strength 4) Close Combat: 4 Strength Bonus This means you can put up to 4 stones into close combat, and up to 4 more (from your energy reserve) because of your strength...In short, this character can put up to 8 stones into a close combat attack... Modifiers = Additional stones from the "General Pool" Modifiers simply add free stones to an action... Example: Range Combat: 6 Energy Blaster +3 This means that you can put up to 6 stones into a range attack using your energy blaster (equipment), and on top of that, 3 free stones are added to the attack...Simply, if you put 4 stones into Range combat, your attack with your Energy Blaster is 7 stones... Other modifiers of note: PA Electrification: 4 If someone attacks you in close combat they take 4 stones of damage from electricity...This is way important, and will keep people from getting in your face as long as they don't have a natural defense of 4 or higher...If Spiderman decks you with a 6 stone punch, you'll subtract your PA toughness of 4, so 2 stones get through to do 1 White Stone of damage...Spiderman on the other hand takes 4 stones of damage, which translates to 2 White stones...Again, handy... Toughness: +4 Even if you forget (or choose not) to defend yourself you always have 4 stones of defense... Defense is kinda iffy, but basically you can defend yourself using any of your traits...You can put 3 stones into agility and "Shift them into defense" as they say in the book...Essentially the Defense block is one category and stones can come from virtually anywhere to defend yourself...For the game purposes, simply put stones in Defense, and give a brief description of how you're defending yourself... That should help a bit...Any questions, just ask...

I think it would be also wise to have you guys repost your characters in new threads so it is easier to find them and alter as you gain Lines of Experience then if Tommy is up for it he could give us our own little section in the play by post for this or gives me mod power over this section at least.
I would create new threads with this in the title: Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 Character: Enter name of Character make is easier to keep track of if I have things that specifically address the character and doesn't get lost in other OOC discussions.

I wish I could commit myself to play this. But moreso, I wish I could pull off running this in person. One of my player's wanted to do this game, but under the '93 White Wolf system, Street Fighter: The Storyteller Game.

Yeah well folks get busy and I I really like the MURP system. Too bad Marvel didn't support it better. And I have all the Street Fighter books by White Wolf another game I really enjoyed for what it was.
