I know this game is a few years old now, but anyone here still enjoy it?
I bought it and Marvel Ultimate Alliance at the same time, so with MUA being so much better of a game, it was hard for me to take a break from it and try out XML.
Now that I'm done with MUA, I'm working on XML and I think I'm just about done with it. I'm in Apocalypse's tower.
Naturally, the thing you always wonder when you play games like this is if the characters you choose are the best choices and if there are some game or character techniques that you're not utilizing.
...and I don't know about everyone else out there, but some of the voice actors they chose for some of these characters are just painful to listen to! Juggernaut, one of my favorite comic book characters, thankfully was really done well - but another favorite, the sexy Cajun Gambit, really got assed out. He sounds like some scummy iron worker who hangs out at the local tavern in the skanky part of town. Just... bad.

XML2 is pretty sweet.
I should get my Legends 1 back, and play through the trilogy again.

Yeah - besides the ability to play Juggy, XML 1 is better than 2.
I have searched for hours and I haven't found a good site to give me the sort of advice I'm looking for! I'm trying to find a site that can tell me the greater points of each character and how to best develop them.

The customization is the thing I hated the most about Ultimate Alliance, I got used to the point distribution on stats and everything, and then it was gone.
*sigh*
For me, I thought Legends 2 was better than 1, especially on the second playthrough, because the Magma story REALLY drug it down for me in subsequent playthroughs.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Magma thing. I could see that getting old. I was more thinking about the graphics, I guess. I can see how some people like the whole "cell shading" thing, but it isn't for me.
