So I was looking over the Kenson stuff and saw the idea of unfolding the stats. I liked it, but then I looked at the skills and said "What is a Stamina skill?" etc...
So instead of having unfolded numbered and lettered stats, why not unfold traits?
Change the parent stat to have a more generic title (Body for Strenght, Reflexes for Agility, Mind for Intellect and Soul for Willpower) and then have two sub traits on each one, as follows...
Body • Strength • Stamina
Reflexes • Agility • Dexterity
Mind • Intellect • Perception
Soul • Willpower • Presence
Now each of these traits would have a modifier ranging from -3 to +3. These are added to the value. If lifting add the Strength trait to Body and then cards. If holding, use Stamina, etc...
What do you guys think?

I think I'm missing the point of it. I love options, but I don't see what this option gives us.
Also, why do these traits give a modifier of -3 to +3? How does one determine who gets what modifier for their character? I could imagine a hero with a Strength 2 being converted over to this system and getting a -3, but what about the hero with a Strength 10, 15, or 20? Are all of these people +3?

I do find it too ADD-like. TSR has done the same thing with "Player's Options" and I was not totally convinced. Therefore, I dont find it necessary for MSHAG.
But I accept to argue about it: - What are the default values? - And how do they increase with response bonus?
