I'm resurrecting an old, but popular topic: If Agility is your ability to gracefully and percisely move, why do we use Strength to punch?

Well because boxers land a lot of blows? The fact is most melee attacks are (believe it or not) not as much about precision as it is about barreling past defenses--they take place within very limited distance with very limited menuvering going on.
Skilked and or agile fighters (read Martial Arts, use agility, but they do that in the game already.)

So, the stronger you are, the better you are at hitting and damaging with those hits?
Good point, though, with your explanation of "they take place within very limited distance with very limited menuvering going on". That is, perhaps, the best explanation of it that I have heard, yet.
