So what did you spend yours on?
I splurged on a $80 boardgame and the expansion. I would never have bought such an expansive boardgame otherwise

I am pretty sure a couple in Tupelo got mine.
What game did you buy?

Tide of Iron from FFG and the expansion, Desert Fox.
It is a WW II themed wargame. The production value is amazing and I really like the customization of units. If you are familiar with Memoir 44 and Combat Commander, it is like a cross between the two (basically it is a medium heavy wargame).
It is a scenerio based game. The game with tons of plastic figs, sturdy carboard chits to keep track of things like status and terrain, and the cardboard hex maps are awesome. I can't wait for the Russian Front expansion. The core game is just American vs Germans. The Desert Fox expansion introduces the British and new traits such as special forces and new pieces such as artillary. Another great thing are the cards that affect battle but the game is not card driven like Memoir 44.
I've only been able to play 2 games so far and still in the process of learning the rules. Hoping to play another one with tanks this time this coming weekend.
Anyway, it seems only a couple of my friends received theirs so far

I have this game and its expansion as well. Haven't had a chance to play it yet. Figured I would paint all the minis for it first since by the time I actually get to play it I could atleast have the minis done before hand.

I'm too intimidated with the small size od the infantry at least to attempt to paint them.
I'm thinking of buying the tanks from the Flames of War miniatures game, painting them and using them for the boardgame though.
When you play with opponents, just be prepared that they may break the pegs on the soldiers. I've heard horror stories...
FFG is coming out with a hardcover scenerio book done by other wargame designers and WWII historians. Hopefully, it'll come with more terrains...
