Phantom of the Opera

So the wife and I are going to see Phantom of the Opera on July 8th at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. I've seen it live once before, back when I was a junior in high school, but that's been a while...she's never gotten to see it before.

I've always been a pretty big mark for The Phantom, so I'm kinda pumped about it...plus, once you have kids, you don't get to go out a whole lot, just you and the wife, ya know?

It's my favorite opera. Did you see the movie version?

I'm just going to assume you mean the Andrew Lloyd Webber movie version..=)

I did see it...at first I wasn't impressed with the casting, but they all REALLY grew on me, especially the main three characters...in fact, the movie version is the ONLY portrayal of Raoul that I have been able to empathize with at all.

I am personally a fan of Phantom Of The Paradise but that is just me....
