Shadow X-men Game using MSH

Currently running this because a friend asked about "playing" MSH online and I offered since its tied for the second favorite supers game ever (Saga being the other tied for second)

The players have faced the Brood Mutants: Reaver, Loper, and their Semi-Queen like Screamer. While investigating a Christian retreat that hosted not one but two X-men preachers. Notably Reverand Stryker (God Loves Man Kills), and William Connover (Brood Mutant era, husband to Hannah Connover later revealed to be a less than malignant Brood Queen.)


Anyway currently I've munged continuty (Hannah being a Brood Queen) for a purpose.

The heroes escaped Stryker's Sentinel, as they seek weaknesses in the design (since they are NOT on par with Sentinels just the three PC's--The Liger (turns into a giant liger like cat, has hybrid form and always has pointy cat-ears), All-Star (glowing super attribute boosted--uses touch based TK to give him speed, strength and forceshield) , and Neti (Black as midnight/tar religious prince of some unknown land was thrown out of that land and is a mutant who can fire darkforce blasts)


Their next mission is to find out whose making children disapear in a small nevada town--one of which was tey believe a mutant.

Screamer appeared as a normal full brood in her "normal" form except for a human like brain shape warping her own alien skull. As a human she appeared as a cute petite blond with friendly features.

Loper appeared as a humanoiod brood, features (head and face and fore arms) were all normal but with humanoid torso legs and lacking wings or tendrils. As a human he was a dark shaggy haired man in his mid twenties.

Reaver appears as a humanoid brood with hair atop his head with mostly human features covered in brood chitin-scales, only lacking human arms instead having tendrils in their place. He lacks additional limbs (wings or legs beyond the humanoid ones). His human mouth is filled with brood fangs however. In human form he appears as a young man in fit form with brown hair.


Screamer is a female brood-mutant queen and tries to infest others with her eggs. Like true brood.

Brood Mutants can switch between human form and brood form disguising their true natures, but this does not disguise their mutant natures from detectors.

New session this week. Heroes had discovered by watching new a series of kidnappings, and believed one of the victims was a child-mutant.

The teenage mutants arrived on scene and volunteered as searchers.

They noticed the shift in tone a bit. After running into a discerning seargeant working for the police. Who queries them when they volunteer and they spend time getting the third degree as she drives them a place to search.

On the way they get a call

Other searchers discovered the bloody remains of a little girls skirt.

Liger, the teams shapeshifting hunter offers his services as a tracker, but under the cover of a mere human one. (

He begin following the scent.

Eventually they find the naked body of a little girl. Scratched up and hurt.

With REALLY good reasons to hunt for the bastard. who did it.
