What skills do you all find work for any character concept and/or are the most useful?
My vote is for...
Mental Control: The use of all non-sensory powers that have Willpower trump suits.

Um. The skill doesn't give you the powers, it makes them easier to use right? : ;D

Well, Martial Arts is incredibly useful, especially if your physical stays are approximately equal, as it allows you to go by the best card in your hand (Ag or Str) instead of using Strength and hoping for the best.

I'd second Martial Arts. Observation is always nice also.

I would have said Martial Arts, but I'm learning that having a high Strength is just as good if not better than a high Agility.
High Strength allows you to hit more often, do more damage, and be able to take more damage.
If you have a High Agility WITH the Martial Arts skill, it allows you to hit often. Your damage is based off your (presumably lower) Strength. While you may be better able to dodge an attack, you're having to play cards from your hand to dodge (using up good cards, and collecting/spending more Dooms), and if you miss you're again depending on Strength to help absorb the damage.
Observation is a really nice skill, though, especially with it appling to sensory based powers, too.

My point was that if they are relatively equal, Strength and Agility, then you basically have Master Class @$$-kicking.

My vote for best skill would probably be Martial Arts, followed by Acrobatics.
