I love the Terry Pratchett books and there are still some I haven't read yet. I kept seeing this game even back in the day and then noticed it had been released some years ago in a hardcover edition so I opted to finally pick up and the Discworld Also source book. I look forward to throwing together a little game of this at some point. Anyone else played it or like the Discworld books? The Playstation games were good as well if not hard at times.
These books use the GURPS lite rules.

At one time I was looking into getting GURPS but decided it wasn't for me. I did see the Discworld splatbook but skimming through it, I didn't find it interesting enough to run a campaign. This was a long time ago though so I can't give you a reason.
In regards to a multi-genre rpg, I'm glad I waited for Savage Worlds and d20.
I've never read the book(s). What is it about the setting that you liked?

What is it about the setting that you liked? I just loved the political satire and the world is a lot of fun. I also have never been one to get into GURPS because well the amount of books out there are well overwhelming and make my head hurt. I opted to pick up the GURPS Magic fourth ed book as well since it combines third ed magic and the grimoire books plus gives more magic stuff. I am only using the GURPS lite rules for it to try it out and if anything I got it mainly for the source material. But yeah looking at GURPS product lists really hurts my brain.
