I'm sorry about all the "New Power: BlahBlahBlah" that I've been doing. My intent wasn't to flood the boards, but rather to post all of the new powers and get that out of the way and ready for discussion.

I'm not the author of any of these powers, but as they are generally well known powers, I thought some discussion about them might be in order. I believe most of the powers that I have posted were, in fact, authored by Dan Hamilton, but since I don't know for sure (he's terrible about answering e-mails), I couldn't give him credit/blame.

Finally, I thought Tim's idea of condensing powers for a potential MSHAG 2 was a great one, so I took the initiative in getting a list started. The list may not be perfect, but at least we have something to go by - that is, something to discuss. So, if any power I put on the list to be condensed you disagree with - that is, you think it should remain a power in itself, please speak up. Otherwise, some schmuck down the line might come up with a MSHAG 2 and have written out some of your favorite powers, calling it something else, burying it among a dozen other stunts.

Oddly, I hadn't seen most of the powers...and I consider myself well-versed in what's available for Saga...=)

You know, something I'm finding out as I go through the Powers list is that some of these powers, while they could easily be condensed into another power or powers, by having them as their own power it puts it in the light. When you're going down the list, and you see that power, you can imagine a use for it - or a potential use for it. Let's take the fan-made power of Weapon Creation. It works just like Object Duplication, but it only applies to weapons. So, it SHOULD be condensed down. However, you would have to have in mind all ready a hero who can summon any weapon to hand to know to look under Object Duplication.

I don't know. That's just one example of many.

Wings, however, is a power that people would look under Flight for any way. While I didn't come up with the name, I think that if we condensed Claws/Teeth/Horns/etc. down that there has to be a better name for it than "Body Weapons".
