So I recently picked up the hardcover version of this epic story and have Paradise X on order. So far I am really liking this verse! I am thinking of running a Marvel game based in this setting.
Anyone else like the Earth X series?

At first, I disliked Earth-X. I found it too different from the main Marvel verse. But then, I read the entire Earth-X/Universe-X story arc and I found it great. I am a big Marvel fan and the story involves so many references! I really enjoyed it.
And so I recommend reading directly the entire story (as you have done).
I really love this celestial embryo idea. And the dual living/dead point of view of the universe-X story is also very good.

Well Paradise X didn't come off like it should have mainly because the editors kept sticking their fingers into things. Otherwise it would have ended differently. Infact I believe the story was cut short by a couple issues.
