Ultimate Avengers

I'm not sure how many of you out there have seen these movies (Ultimate Avengers 1 & 2), but for those that have, what do you think about them?

Admitedly, I not familiar with the Ultimates universe at all, and as far as the characterizations, I take them on a case-by-case basis.

For example, I like to humanization of Capt. America, 'the man lost in time' was a great touch! I did't care for Pym at all, he was a total @$$#*(& and I found his redemption at the end of UA2 a little "too little too late" for my tastes.

I also found the absence of the Hulk in the second movie dissapointing, and the story itself lack-luster. I had hoped they would have brought in a more excititing guest hero than the Black Panther, and a more exciting story than a warmed-over version of the first film!

That said thoug, I hope they do make another, maybe this time they'll move on from the while 'alien invasion' thing and try something new!

If they do, what would you want them to do?

What heroes/ villans would you like to see in their third movie?

I largely agree with what you wrote. I really enjoyed Ultimate Avengers 1...but come #2, I was ready for something that had nothing to do with the alien invasion.

That said, I thought they were promising starts to Marvel's animated division, and I hope it really takes off.

I enjoyed these BUT felt that the lack of Hulk in the movie left me a bit ripped off. I do like the look of these movies and hope there is a third and we get HULK! Other than this cartoon I am not a big fan of the Ultimate Universe.
