Very good movie. I don't understand where all that bashing from the critics are coming from. The only "lame" thing in the movie was the "who shot Uncle Ben" fiasco. I'm not as knowledgeable in the Spiderman lore to know if that twist is what actually occurred in the comics though.
I was a bit worried about the return of Green Goblin but he didn't dampen my enjoyment of the movie and he was actually exciting to watch.
From the getgo, the movie was on high octane. It was the most action packed of the trilogy. This movie was also as funny or more so than the previous movie (remember the elevator scene?).
I would have loved to see it on the IMAX theatre. Unfortunately, it was sold out for the whole weekend so my friend and I had to settle for the regular screen. On the bright side I was happily surprised when I got my change back. I had saved six dollars (movies are $9 and if want to watch it on the IMAX, its $13). My friend and I had purchased the ticket just before the tickets went back up to $9 for the evening.

As long as I know, it did not occur. The shooter was always the same. But his motivation was further explained: he looked for some money hidden in the Parker home long ago by a fellow gangster. (In the original comics, Ben was shoot in his home not in the street.) And it did neither occur in the Ultimate time-line.
