Last Night on Earth, The Zombie Game is a survival horror board game that pits small-town Heroes head-to-head against a limitless horde of Zombies (players can play on the Hero team or as the Zombies). A modular board randomly determines the layout of the town at the start of each game and there are several different scenarios to play, adding lots of replayability. Fast Paced Game Play with Easy To Learn rules allows players to jump right into the action, while Strategic Depth and Strong Cooperative Play keeps the game interesting. To achieve a horror movie feel, all of the art for the game is photographic and the game comes with a CD Soundtrack of original music. And the Expansion: Growing Hunger is an expansion to Last Night on Earth, The Zombie Game a survival horror board game that pits small-town Heroes head-to-head against a limitless horde of Zombies (players can play on the Hero team or as the Zombies). A modular board randomly determines the layout of the town at the start of each game and there are several different scenarios to play, adding lots of replay-ability. Fast Paced Game Play with Easy To Learn rules allows players to jump right into the action, while Strategic Depth and Strong Cooperative Play keeps the game interesting. So how many have tried out Flying Frog Productions: Last Night on Earth game? I picked it up when it first came out as well as its expansion: Growning Hunger and I have to say this game kicks ass! I loved it so much that I even started to work on a 3D scale version of it. Check it out here: www.thezombiegame.com/gallery/index.php?cat=1This video also gives a look at the components that come with the game:

Thanks guys!
I would not have put all this time and energy into this project had the game not been that good. I have been a fan of Zombies!!! for a very long time but man I think LNOE really takes it to another level in the Zombie board game genre.
More pics on the way so folks will have to keep popping by the Zombie Game site again and keep checking in. Currently working on the Supermarket/Drug Store/Post office board so it is taking some time since it is a rather large board section what with the Supermarket/Drug store/Post Office as pretty much one huge building.
It and the Garage/Junkyard and Bank board I am also working on So I got both of the larger boards to get through. But once they are finished I will get some pics up for sure.

Little update on this project. I only have 3 buildings left to put together and then all the buildings are done which allows games to take place on the board in the realm of a 3D version of Woodinvale. Over the next while when my group are not playing I can work away on the interiors of each of the buildings.
Should be a lot of fun once the project is 110% complete and then I will really have some pics to show!

I've never been a zombie themed fan but I came across a Buffy conversion and that clinched the sale for me. www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/328701/page/1So I went to my FLGS today to get LNoE and its expansion. Instead, I got sidetracked and got GM's screen for Dark Heresy (Awesome product by the way!) and just the core boardgame. After having bought it, I realized that I should have made sure it was the second printing but unfortuantely I teared the wrap. I have to come bacl next week to pickup Anima rpg but I may also pickup the expansion for LNoE.

Well there will be replacement boards if you so need to have them. I personally didn't find it effecting my games. The game is great and oozes theme. And I am also looking forward to getting my hands on the Anime RPG.

I saw the glow in the dark zombies from the ZOMBIES! game. I may pick those up in prep for a Halloween game night.
I can't wait to try out the Buffy conversion...
I got the Anima rpg. I have to read through it before I comment on it though.

Last Night on Earth sounds pretty cool. I had seen it before, but I wasn't sure if it were worth the money or not, so I went with Zombies!!! as I had a friend who swore by it. Zombies!!! is a lot of fun and while I don't know how it compares to Last Night on Earth, they DID come out with an awesome expansion (I think this makes their eighth or ninth) called Humans!!! where, as you may have guessed, you're a zombie who is out to infect as many humans as possible - or as your wonderful site you posted describes, " You used to be a musician, doctor, miner, cheerleader, etc., but now you are a zombie and these pesky humans keep trying to kill you. But why? All you want is some nice, delicious brains. They have plenty. Perhaps if you infected more humans, it wouldn't be such a problem...
In Humans!!! you choose a Zombie and your abilities are determined based on your pre-zombie occupation. Now you wander around town trying to infect as many people as you can to help with your cause.
This game is compatible with Zombies!!!, where players can choose to play the humans or the zombies." Humans!!! game link: www.boardgamegeek.com/game/33040Zombies!!! series game link: www.boardgamegeek.com/wiki/page/Zombies!!!_series

I think if you are into zombie themed entertainment, neither game can be wrong.
The thing that got me excited enough about LNoE were the unique characters. I believe the humans in Zombies!!! are generic and there is no distinction among them whereas each human in LNoE have personality and have different game effects. Someone of BGG site made a Buffy conversion so that you can play as Willow, Xander, Buffy, etc. which is a really neat concept.

There were some other threads on the Zombies stuff that I had posted before just below this thread. LNOE is a great great game and just oozes theme. I like Zombies but it becomes rather zombie-like play wise as you just go through the motions every turn. Humans is a nice spin on the same concepts and yes it does allow for intergration of Zombie players vs. Shotgun Guy players but I think LNOE does this a bit better. Did I just say a bit? I meant A LOT better.
