Ravenloft Saga

So I love Ravenloft...have for years.

My problem is that the D&D system(s) over the years have always struck me as being an AWFUL fit.

I planned on trying to convert Ravenloft to a hybrid of the Cinematic and Classic Unisystems, but after acquiring the old Dragon Magazine article Saga of the Mists, I think I'm going to dive into a conversion so I can run Ravenloft with the Saga system.

My first roadblock is deciding whether I want to use the Fifth Age deck with smaller mods to the rules system, or use the Tarokka deck, with bigger modifications to the system (due to the smaller deck size, for one).

I felt the same way. I just didn't think D&D could give the feel of a horror genre so I never picked up Ravenloft.

It will be interesting to see how you use the SAGA system to fit Ravenloft.

No doubt! And maybe if Tommy has the time he could run it on here to give it a try just roll up some pregens for the players and away we go.
