so i was running this through my head what do you guys think
if you need to lay out combat on a map squares or hexes doesn't matter the distance a character can move and perform a successful attack at the same time is adding strength and agility together and divide by two now if they use a power or piece of equipment then they would add strength and the power divide by two
to me it seems ok it shows that the brainy superheroes who don't have high strength or agility don't go far but then they are also probably not front line fighters who don't need run fast either is my thought so let me know what you think

I dunno...if I used minis at all for this game I would largely handwave movement and mostly just use it to show "this guy is here, this guy is here" and so on.

Yeah, that's what my D&D group does; we use the miniatures to clarify who is near what, what is a reasonable thing... too much rule mechanics get in the way of RPz and fun.
