I want to give a character the power to turn his body into Darkforce (Body Transformation with Energy Form case). But if I read the rulebook, it says:
So my question is the following: What is the Strength of the transformed character? a) 0, because pure Darkforce is only immaterial energy b) the level of his/her Body Transformation (which represents its ability to solidify his/her Darkforce body) c) the level of his/her original Strength (his/her body changes but not its abilities) d) the lower of b) and c) e) something else

B) The level of his intensity.
If one is covered with anything, be it fire, Darkforce, whatever, it is the strength of that energy - thus represented by their intensity.
Though, I would allow the player to choose a Strength lower than their intensity if they wished. If the change were lower than their original strength, I would count it as a limit.

Yeah. Remember if he is INSUBSTANTIAL, that's not necessarily Energy Form. Since Energy Form (can) cause damage when it touches something.
While darkforce may be energy and energy is non-solid it still has an effective interactive presence. You'd treat it just like Body Transformation (Electricity), or Body Transformation (Light).
The rank of the power determines the rank of their resistance (and damage they do when they contact something.)

yeah, I'd say if you choose darkforce energy, you could then choose to take energy, solid or even gasenous forms as stunts. As you can harden darkforce into shapes and such, I assume that a darkforce form could come in many types. If you chose energy, then it's as silverlion states. But there nothing to stop you choose addtional stunts of body tranformation to change the form so that you can do freaky stuff with it.

Hell, thinking about it, darkforce could even be like a liquid form. Creepy.

Thanks for all the answers. I will use the intensity for the strength of the transformed character.
It seems that the Darkforce can be solid, liquid or gaseous because it is probably the matter of another universe. But it essentially manifest itself in our world as a life or soul-draining energy. So I think that the base form should be considered as energy. And this allow the player to be quasi-solid and intangible (gaseous) at will.

It seems that whatever you can do with force field or any other energy, you can do it with Darkforce.
It can be solidified similar to Green Lantern's power (DarkStar)
You can fly (DarkStar)
You can teleport.
You can form quasi solid state (Black Mambra)
Energy attack
Enter the extradimensional Darkforce.
Drawack seems to be insanity (staying too long in that dimension), difficulty maintaining a solid form (hero is either in energy or gas form and needs great concentration to give himself form), and hunger for life force.
