An average Poison(Mind Control) action is needed to restore the recipient's personality.]) 16. Equipment: Spray-on skin. Calling: Soldier/Vestige of Humanity. Hindrance: Monstrous (can be covered with synthetic skin.. Note: Deathlok IV was the latest of the Deathlok’s built just prior to Red Skull’s brief takeover of SHIELD. Formerly a SHIELD Agent who was left crippled after battling Cable, Jack Truman was overhauled in a cybernetic body as the new Deathlok. Recently, however, he transferred his mind into another SHIELD agent’s body, leaving him trapped as Deathlok. Truman currently has Strength 8A, Agility 6A and lost all powers except Mind Control. He also lost the Monstrous hindrance.
This Deathlok is one of my favorite, little used characters in the Marvel Universe. He first debuted as a SHIELD Manhunter and gave Cable a good fight. In his own series, he thwarted The Ringmaster from managing to hypnotize the American people into electing him president.
In your games, Agent Truman could be drawn out of hiding when the current Deathlok (SHIELD Agent Larry Young) breaks free from SHIELD captivity and goes on a rampage.
If your heroes are rogues, Truman could be assigned to take them down, either as Deathlok or in his pre-Deathlok persona of Agent 18. Pre-Deathlok his Strength and Agility were 8A, Mind Control was his only superpower and he didn't have the Vestige of Humanity calling.
