Just to explain, I have a slighlty obssessive perosnality. Which means that as a result I have stated 89% of the marvel universe. I have made my own roster books up for stuff of the internet and my own stats for pretty much eveything in the marvel world. I so far have The street level roster, the 2005 update roster, 2006 update roster, amazing tales update roster, alternatives roster and 2007 update roster and am currently working on the Civil war and intative roster. So if you have a request for a stat, I can probably help. Just post things on here and I'll try to get back to you as soon a possible.

Sweet.
Any chance you have those in files you'd be willing to e-mail to me? I don't have any particular requests, I'd just like to see your work.

I'm afraid they were created on a compi that is anceint and dodgey, so it doesn't connect to the internet. not only that but most of it is stored on paper. Tell you what, I'll try slowly to add stuff from them. 2005 updates probably the one that is full of more 'central' marvle characters so I'll start there. What exactly is it that you want to study from my work? Are you having trouble working out how certain powers might be converted from comic to game?

Its mostly that I have been maintaining the unofficial roster files started by Tom Costa and the SAGA mailing list ages ago, but in recent years I just haven't had the time or money to follow the Marvel Universe...so I was interested to see what kind of "holes" your rosters could fill for me there since, if you are that obsessive (and I'm not doubting you, nor saying its a bad thing), then there's probably several changes or characters that I wouldn't even *think* of in your files.

There are some newer characters (post-MSHAG publishing) that later Marvel games have converted, as have fans. By seeing how one writes such characters up it gives others an idea of both how they see that character and how they see MSHAG statistics. If Captain America's stats weren't already published, one might have given him Abilities (Str/Agl/Int/Will) of 14 because his supersolder chemical changes ("supersoldiers should be SUPER human, so I'm going to give him fourteens all the way down..."). Whether or not that I agree with your statistical view of the characters, I'm thrilled that someone has tried to keep the game up to date on current Marvel events!

tell you what, I'll list what I've done in each roster. 2005 roster is gonna be first First team out of the box Runaways (all edge 1): ARSENIC (gert) Calling: responsibility of power ST 3X AG 5X IN 6D WP 8B Skills: History (genral/modern), Animal handling, Leadership, Taunting POWERS Telepathy 15 Stunts: Team link, Telelocation Limits: with old lace only
BRUISER (molly hayes) Calling: Youthful exubrance/outcast Hinderance: Kid St 2D, AG 4X INT 3X WP 4X Skills: Brawling POWERS Ability boost (strength) 15 Stunts: Unconscious activation (allows molly to activate this power outside of her own turn before damage is delt) Limit: After the aura duration of this power runs out molly falls asleep for the rest of the scene.
LSD (lucy in the sky) Calling: Outcast ST 4X AG 6D IN 5D WP 3D Skills: Aerial combat, Spacecraft, Observation POWERS Flight 16 Stunts: Power dive Energy blast (light) 14 Light control 9 Stunts: Blinding, Energy sheath Equipment: Bracelet-Allows lucy to pass as a normal human without showing hewr glowing form. However it also reduces all her power intensities to 0.
OLD LACE Calling: Protector (arsneic/Talkback) Hindernace: Monsterous (a friggin raptor, for gods sake!) ST 12D AG 10A IN 3X WP 4D Skills: Natural weapons, Fast exit, Tracking POWERS Additional limb -tail 13 Body armour +2 Claws + 5 Telepathy 15 Stunts: Team link Limit: first arsenic only, later Talkback only Teeth + 3
SISTER GRIM (Nico) Calling: Outcast ST 3X AG 4D IN 6C WP 9C Skills: Sleight of hand, Mythology, Occult, Meditation, Mental control POWERS Magic 20 Limits: The magic is sotred within the staff of ages, part of nico's body. She msut draw blood to summon the staff. In a comabt where nico has not yet been injured and tries to cast a spell, draw a card if the aura is negative or neutral, she has cut too deeply. Apply damage equal to the card draw to her. Also nico can never cast the same spell twice. She cast variations (so energy blast coudl come once in the form of water once in the form of heat) though. A narrator must keep track of this.
TALKBACK (Chase) Calling: Thrill-seeker/Vengance (after gert's death) ST 6C AG 5B IN 6C WP 8X Skills: Knives, Brawling, Driving, Pilot, Repair, Lore (street), Esponiage POWERS None to speak of. Chase usaully is the one to use equipment He used to own a pair of X-ray goggles 10 (as the enhanced sense stunt) and Fisson flame gauntlets 12: energy blast 12 and sheath around hands at same intesity allowing strength to be 12 for the wearer. He also pilots the leapfrog ship LEAPFROG: Lighting speed 4, Flight 6, Spaceflight 8, Hull strength 20
VICTORIUS (Victor) Calling: Repentant (feels the need to atone for his 'father' ultrons mistakes) ST 12X AG 6X IN 5A WP 10X Skills: Sceintific genius (computers, bionics, electronics, mechanics, robotics) POWERS Electrical control 16 Stuns: Absorbtion, Shock field Magentic control 18 Stunts: Animation, Entrapment, Force field, Rapid assembley, Form mecha body (unquie stunt allows him form a big robot style body out of metal around himself givng himself a ST of 14 but dropping his AG to 2) Cyborg body 12 This power was first shown in x-men roster but it's meanining is never clear. I always use it as if an oppenent has to 'break down' the body first as if it where a wall or sheet of metal. I'm really just includeing this power to show that victor has taken punishment that would destroy a human and still lived (after being repaired)
And xavin is from my 2007 update book, but he's a runaway, so I've added him in. XAVIN Calling: Exemplar ST 6D AG 5D In 14X WP 5X Skills: Boxing, Fast exit POWERS Shapeshifting 16 Stunts: Elongation (size league stride, suprise attack), Imiation, energy sheath : fire (partial sheath)

other team I've done since I've stated you might be missing are new x-men, x-static, acolyte (most of the rest), various morlock incanrations, tried to fill in every avenger and x-man, weapon plus characters, most of the missing new warriors, the missing shi'ar imperial guardsmen and some others I think. I usually try to pick some old charcters with new when I do a book. Also if anyone has seen 'gene game' on on uXM I've statted the character created on that

The New X-Men I don't have...the Acolytes are basically complete in my roster, I believe, as are most of the X-Men, Avengers and Morlocks...I haven't gotten around to messing with the Weapon Plus stuff (in part because I hated the whole storyline).

The acolyte actually mark the point when I knew I was going too far again. When you're taring yourself apart becuase you're not sure about which skills orator should have, you know you've hit the bricks. I'll stick new x-men on a new thread soon. Do you want just the team now or do you want the entire student body (you know, the 'others'like the Stepford cuckoos, the paragons team, old new x-men and hellions, bling, onyxx that stuff) cuase I could put them on a small bit at a time.

If you wanna put the whole school on there, knock yourself out. I'd be happy to see 'em.
